The presentation of the 2 CD & Book “Hymns & Songs to the Mother of God” by Nektaria Karantzi, published by the Radio Station of the Church of Greece, successfully held at the Byzantine Museum in Athens, in presence of Archbishop of Athens and all Greece Ieronymos II.  The release is first volume of a unique completed musical work with more than 70 hymns and songs to the Virgin Mary from all over Greece. The whole work has been distributed in three editions, each of these contains a double CD with traditional songs and byzantine hymns of Theotokos. The first edition of this music work includes the honorary participation of the greatest performer and teacher of the Greek Folk culture CHRONIS AIDONIDS, of the internationally acclaimed pianist, composer and conductor VASSILIS TSABROPOULOS and of the internationally acclaimed folk singer of Hungary and a UNESCO artist for Peace MARTA SEBESTYEN!

The official Choir of the Worldwide Association of Women in Byzantine Music «Psaltries» will participate in the second edition.
